Ranchi's influential builder shoots self with pistol after 25 crore debt

Tragedy struck near Hinoo Chowk area of Ranchi as prominent builder Neeraj Sahay took his own life by shooting himself. The incident took place at his residence, where Neeraj, grappling with financial woes, locked himself in a room and used his licensed pistol.

Preliminary investigation suggests that Neeraj Sahay had been dealing with significant financial losses in his business, leading to mounting stress. Sources revealed that he had accrued debts amounting to approximately 25 crores. He was under immense pressure and locked himself inside a room with his licensed pistol. While interrogating, the family members also mentioned about financial troubles Neeraj was facing. 

A complaint had been lodged against Neeraj Sahay at the Kotwali police station prior to the tragic incident
